Las calor\u00edas de m\u00e1s pueden ser grasas, hidratos de carbono o prote\u00ednas.\n<li>La grasa saturada estimula al organismo a producir colesterol. Por esta raz\u00f3n, es muy importante evitar los alimentos ricos en grasas saturadas, en lugar de evitar los alimentos ricos en colesterol.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Es importante controlar el colesterol en sangre para poder hacer los cambios necesarios en nuestro estilo de vida -cambios en la dieta, ejercicio f\u00edsico, dejar de fumar- o buscar el asesoramiento m\u00e9dico necesario y la mejor terapia para reducir una tasa elevada de colesterol en sangre. Mejor a\u00fan, come con moderaci\u00f3n, haz ejercicio regularmente y no fumes. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 esperar a tener un nivel alto de colesterol en sangre para hacer cambios? Todos sabemos lo dif\u00edcil que es cambiar nuestros h\u00e1bitos.   <\/p>\n<h4>Para evitar tener un nivel elevado de colesterol en la sangre, debes<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Evita comer en exceso. Recuerda que comer demasiado anima al cuerpo a producir m\u00e1s colesterol.\n<li>Evita las grasas saturadas. En general, la grasa saturada se encuentra en los alimentos grasos de origen animal, como la carne, la leche y el queso. En realidad, los guisantes, las lentejas y las jud\u00edas son una buena alternativa para sustituir a los alimentos de origen animal, porque contienen las prote\u00ednas que el cuerpo necesita sin grasas saturadas.\n<li>Evita ganar peso.
