Faites tremper le riz dans 3-4 tasses d&rsquo;eau pendant 20 minutes. <\/li>\n<li>Faites chauffer le ghee dans une po\u00eale \u00e0 feu moyen-vif. Lorsque le ghee est chaud, ajoutez les graines de cumin et faites-les frire pendant 3-4 secondes. <\/li>\n<li>\u00c9crasez l\u00e9g\u00e8rement les clous de girofle, la cardamome noire et les grains de poivre noir dans un mortier et un pilon, et ajoutez-les \u00e0 la po\u00eale. Faites-les frire pendant 3-4 secondes. <\/li>\n<li>Ajoutez les oignons \u00e9minc\u00e9s et faites-les frire jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;ils soient dor\u00e9s (6-8 minutes).<\/li>\n<li>Egouttez le riz et ajoutez-le dans la casserole, avec les pois verts, le jus de citron vert, le sel, la feuille de laurier et 2 tasses d&rsquo;eau.<\/li>\n<li>Couvrez la casserole avec un couvercle herm\u00e9tique et faites cuire le pulao \u00e0 feu doux jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que tout le liquide soit absorb\u00e9 et que le riz soit tendre. Cela devrait prendre 20 \u00e0 25 minutes. Remuez d\u00e9licatement le riz une fois pendant la cuisson \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une fourchette.  <\/li>\n<li>Retirez la po\u00eale du feu et laissez reposer le pulao pendant 5 minutes.
