CHICKPEA AND BEET BURGER
Ingredients:
CHICKPEA AND BEET BURGER
- 1 medium grated beet
- 2 cups of cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup manioc flour or crushed oats
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 coriander dip
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal
- q.s. pepper
- q.s. salt
- In a food processor or food processor, place the beetroot and the chickpeas and grind them well.
- Place the remaining ingredients, except for the manioc flour, in the food processor and grind again until a homogeneous paste forms.
- Add the flour and grind again.
- If the dough is too wet to shape (depending on the size of the beet and the grain’s moisture), add a little more manioc flour. If it’s too dry, add a little water.
- Line a tray with parchment paper.
- Form dough balls and flatten them in the shape of a hamburger, place them on the board.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180º for 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
TIP: After cooking the hamburgers, you can freeze and thaw them whenever you want. Bake in the oven without defrosting for about 20 minutes at 180°C
