Sweet red kidney bean cream

Ingredients:

Sweet red kidney bean cream

  • 250 g small red beans
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 250 ml water
  1. Soak the beans for at least 8 hours. Boil the beans until soft.
  2. Blend the beans with a little water. Pass them through a sieve to remove the skins.
  3. In a saucepan add the bean purée and sugar, add the cinnamon stick and the water. Simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring continuously. When it reaches the desired consistency, remove from heat. Pour into canning containers.
