Chickpea balls
Ingredients:
Chickpea balls
- 200 g cooked chickpeas
- 100 g onion (diced into small cubes)
- 50 g green bell pepper (diced)
- 1 egg
- 100 g cream cheese
- 1 tbsp tahine
- 50 g corn flour
- ½ lemon juice
- Salt
- oil for frying
- In a kitchen processor, beat all the ingredients until you get a homogeneous paste but not too smooth.
- Take small portions of the mix and shape them with your hands. If they stick to your hands add a little more corn flour.
- Fry in olive oil over moderate heat, until golden brown.
- Serve
