Navy bean brownie

Ingredients:

Navy bean brownie

  • 200 g cooked navy beans
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g Greek yogurt
  • 50 g butter at room temperature
  • 30 g powdered chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 40 g chocolate chips
  • 50 g walnuts in pieces
  1. Preheat the oven to 170ºC. Butter a 20×20 cm square mold. Cover the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the beans with the egg and the Greek yogurt. Set aside.
  3. Sift the flour with the powdered chocolate.
  4. Beat the sugar with the butter, add the bean mixture and vanilla, mix well, then incorporate the flour and chocolate. Once well incorporated, add the nuts and the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the mold. Bake for about 25 minutes. The brownie should not be dry. Cool on a rack, then cut the brownies with a sharp knife.
