Chickpea cookies

Ingredients:

Chickpea cookies

  • 150 g chickpea flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 g butter (melted)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp yeast
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 170º C. Cover a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Beat the egg with the sugar and yeast until you get a whitish paste. Add the ground cardamom and the melted butter, mix well. Add the chickpea flour. Mix well until you get a homogeneous dough.
  3. Make small balls with your hands and place them on the prepared tray. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Take out of the oven. Serve when cold.

Advice

  1. You can add rose water. Also substitute the cardamom for ground cinnamon.
